Middlesex have been crowned champions in dramatic fashion at Lord’s.

Toby Roland-Jones’ stunning hat-trick saw them beat Yorkshire on an action-packed final day to clinch their first County Championship title for 23 years.

Arsenal had three men sent off against the Blues last season and their manager Arsene Wenger has warned his players they need to keep their composure this time around.

Ahead of the first-team clash, the two clubs’ development sides met on Friday evening at Stamford Bridge, where Arsenal won 2-1.

Chelsea have also announced that defender Todd Kane, 23, has signed a new three-year contract.
