Middlesbrough have made QPR and Fulham offers for Matt Phillips and Ross McCormack respectively.

West London Sport revealed on Thursday that the Championship leaders had tabled a bid for Phillips and subsequently also revealed that the offer had been rejected and later that Boro’s Albert Adomah is among the wingers Rangers are interested in as a potential replacement for Phillips, who looks increasingly likely to leave.

And Boro have offered Fulham £8m plus Spanish forward Kike in an attempt to land McCormack.

Meanwhile, QPR’s teenage midfielder Brandon Comley has joined Carlisle United on loan.

Branislav Ivanovic, much criticised for his performances this season, is set to sign a new one-year contract at Chelsea.

Chelsea have confirmed Papy Djilobodji’s loan move to Werder Bremen, while youngster Alex Kimomya has been loaned to League Two club Fleetwood.
