Round-up: Bees duo moving, QPR bid, Piazon back, Kane contract

Stuart Dallas and Jonathan Douglas are on the verge of completing moves away from Brentford.

Dallas is expected to be unveiled as a Leeds United player tomorrow after undergoing a medical.

Douglas is also set to leave Griffin Park – the midfielder is close to finalising a move to Ipswich Town.

QPR are planning to make a bid for Southend goalkeeper Dan Bentley ahead of Saturday’s Championship opener against Charlton.

Following news of Ranges’ planned offer, there has been speculation that other clubs, including Swansea and Nottingham Forest, are also looking to sign the 22-year-old.

One player who could be on his way out of Loftus Road is Leroy Fer – Sunderland and West Ham have made enquiries about the midfielder.

Meanwhile, Chelsea youngster Todd Kane has been given a new three-year contract.

And Lucas Piazon featured for the Blues’ Under-21 side as they won 2-1 in a friendly at MK Dons – Nathan Ake and Tammy Abraham scored for the visitors.

In cricket, Nick Gubbins and Dawid Malan both hit centuries against Sussex as Middlesex smashed their record for a one-day total.

The victory came hours after it was announced that Middlesex star Eoin Morgan has been given two weeks off as he looks to arrest a slump in form.
