Round-up: Jose praises QPR, Blues linked with West Ham youngster, Dunne hailed

Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Chelsea v Queens Park Rangers - Stamford Bridge
Dunne has been in great form

Richard Dunne has been praised by Harry Redknapp for his displays since returning to the QPR side.

Dunne has impressed against Liverpool, Aston Villa and Chelsea, and Redknapp has paid tribute to the veteran centre-back, describing him as “outstanding”.

Redknapp has himself been praised, by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who was impressed with Rangers and described their manager’s tactics in Saturday’s west London derby as “fantastic work”.

Mourinho has also insisted that Diego Costa’s below-par display on his return to the side was understandable given the striker’s recent absence.

We made Oscar our man of the match in our player ratings from the weekend’s derby, while Toumani Diagouraga was our star man in Brentford’s win against Derby and youngster Lasse Vigen Christensen in Fulham’s draw at Wigan.

Meanwhile, there has been more transfer speculation today involving both Rangers and Chelsea.

The Blues have again been linked with West Ham’s 15-year-old defender Reece Oxford by the Daily Star, while QPR’s Rio Ferdinand is said to be likely to attract offers from the United States.
