Blues tipped to bid for Khedira and Wolfsburg are linked with Lukaku

Chelsea are reportedly looking to pip Arsenal to the signing of Real Madrid’s Germany midfielder Sami Khedira, while Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a possible move to Wolfsburg.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been tipped to sign Khedira – one of the stars of the World Cup in Brazil – and the Gunners are said to have tabled a £20m bid.

However, the Daily Express say Chelsea are willing to beat that offer in an attempt to land the 27-year-old, who played under Blues boss Jose Mourinho at Real.

The Daily Mirror say Khedira is demanding £150,000 a week, which would make him Arsenal’s highest-paid player, and that Chelsea are ready to step in.

It is also claimed that Real are interested in signing Chelsea’s Ramires.

Lukaku's future remains uncertain ahead of the new season.

There continues to be speculation about Lukaku’s future and the Daily Telegraph suggest German club Wolfsburg are showing an interest.

Everton, who took Lukaku on loan from Chelsea last season, want to sign him on a permanent basis, while Tottenham are also reported to be keen.

It is claimed that Chelsea want £25m from those clubs but might consider a lower offer from a foreign side.

The Daily Mail, on the other hand, say Everton are hopeful of a deal to sign Lukaku for £18m.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are considering a £7m move for Paris St-Germain’s France Under-21 midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to the Express.
