QPR linked with Alnwick, Arsenal tipped to beat Blues to Silva deal

QPR are interested in Jak Alnwick, the Newcastle Evening Chronicle say.

The goalkeeper, 21, recently made his Newcastle debut in their win against Chelsea because of injuries to Tim Krul and Rob Elliot.

And it is claimed that Rangers, who have Rob Green and the highly-rated Alex McCarthy as well as Brian Murphy as their keepers, are keen on Alwick.

Meanwhile, Arsenal look to have beaten Chelsea and Manchester United to the signing of Cruzeiro youngster Lucas Silva, the Express claim.

Another player Chelsea have recently been linked with is 15-year-old Norwegian prospect Martin Odegaard, who is currently with Strømsgodset IF.

The Daily Star say the apparent battle to sign Odegaard has taken a twist, with Celtic now showing an interest in him.

Chelsea have also been linked with AFC Wimbledon’s teenage striker Daniel Agyei.

The Daily Mail reported yesterday that the Blues and Fulham are monitoring the 17-year-old.

And the Daily Mirror today suggest that Chelsea could loan Agyei back to Wimbledon if they do a deal to sign him when the transfer window opens next month.
