Youngster Anthony Georgiou has travelled to Cyprus and trained with the Tottenham squad ahead of the Champions League game against APOEL Nicosia.

The 20-year-old left winger has not made a competitive first-team appearance for Spurs but was part of their pre-season preparations and played in the friendlies against Roma and Juventus.

Boss Mauricio Pochettino is without seven first-team players, and Georgiou could be an option on the left wing or at left wing-back, with Danny Rose still injured.

Georgiou was a regular in Spurs’ development side during the 2015-16 season before an injury-hit campaign last term.
