Chelsea and Fulham want highly-rated Derby County youngster Will Hughes, according to the Daily Mirror.
It is claimed Tottenham supremo Daniel Levy is ready to launch a bid for Hughes, 17, but faces competition from the two west London clubs.
The Mirror also say Daniel Sturridge will get £1.5m from Chelsea when he leaves to join Liverpool.
He is apparently entitled to the pay-out under the terms of his Blues contract, which has another 18 months to run.
The Sun report that Sturridge’s former club Manchester City will get £1.7m after his move as a tribunal ruling after his 2009 switch to Stamford Bridge ordered Chelsea to pay City 15% of any future transfer profit.
Meanwhile, manager Harry Redknapp’s public criticism of Jose Bosingwa and QPR’s other highly-paid players has inevitably led to speculation about who may be offloaded by the club.
The Daily Mail suggest that as well as Bosingwa and Djibril Cisse, Samba Diakite and Stephane Mbia are facing the axe.
