Eduardo Vargas starts for QPR against Aston Villa, who are without injured defender Philippe Senderos.

Rangers were confident that Nedum Onuoha would shake off a hamstring injury in time, but he misses out. Sandro has been passed fit following a groin problem and Rio Ferdinand is again on the bench.

Rob Green returns in goal, with Alex McCarthy absent.
