Latest: Bees 0 Sheffield Wednesday 0

Brentford had a goal disallowed for offside in a goalless first half against Sheffield Wednesday.

With the Bees celebrating their 125th anniversary, Andre Gray side-footed in Jota’s incisive pass but immediately had it ruled out by the officials.

Brentford had to ride out relentless pressure from the visitors just before the break, with Owls striker Stevie May hitting the post.

Wednesday had a host of chances to take the lead, with David Button forced into a number of good saves.

Defender Harlee Dean replaced the suspended James Tarkowski as Brentford’s only change and Dean also threatened with a header as he enjoyed a strong start to his return.

Brentford (4-3-3): Button, McCormack, Dean, Craig, Bidwell; Judge, Douglas, Pritchard; Odubajo, Gray, Jota
Subs not used: Bonham, Toral, Diagouraga, Betinho, Yennaris, Moore, Proschwitz
