Half-time: Brentford 0 Norwich 0

Brentford’s first half against Norwich was intense despite the goalless scoreline.

As the interval approached, the Bees rained shots at John Ruddy and he produced a superb save to beat away Alan McCormack’s drive towards the top corner.

Bees boss Mark Warburton moved McCormack into midfield and Moses Odubajo to right-back, and Odubajo almost made a goal in the first minute when his deep cross was headed over by Alex Pritchard.

Striker Andre Gray could have scored when he turned superbly in the box and fired a low shot just wide of the near post.

And Stuart Dallas blasted Gray’s lay-off over the crossbar moments earlier before further chances for McCormack and Pritchard.

Nathan Redmond went closest for Norwich, who started well, when his shot curled away from the far post.

Brentford (4-2-3-1): Button; Odubajo, Dean, Tarkowski, Bidwell; Douglas, McCormack, Pritchard, Judge, Dallas; Gray
