Burnley v Chelsea: Courtois plays
Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois gets the nod ahead of Petr Cech for Chelsea’s Premier League opener at Burnley.
Courtois makes his competitive debut for the Blues, as do summer signings Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas. But Cesar Azpilicueta starts at left-back so Filipe Luis is among the substitutes along with Didier Drogba, who has overcome an ankle knock.
Burnley: Heaton; Trippier, Shackell, Duff, Mee; Arfield, Jones, Marney, Taylor; Ings, Jutkiewicz.
Subs: Gilks, Dummigan, Long, Wallace, Kightly, Sordell, Barnes.
Chelsea: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Fabregas, Matic; Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard; Costa.
Subs: Cech, Zouma, Luis, Mikel, Willian, Torres, Drogba.
