Aston Villa v Fulham line-ups: Whites duo fit and start, scoring hero dropped, one Villa change

Fulham make two changes for the trip to Aston Villa with Ryan Fredericks and Aboubakar Kamara starting after recovering from foot and thigh problems respectively.

Fredericks comes in at right-back for Denis Odoi, who is dropped despite scoring the 96th minute equaliser to rescue a point against Preston last weekend.

Kamara replaces Neeskens Kebano, who joins Odoi among the substitutes.

Captain Tom Cairney, who returned to action after a knee injury as a half-time substitute in the 2-2 draw with Preston, is again only fit enough for a place on the bench.

Aston Villa make one change, appearing to match up Fulham’s 4-3-3 formation by bringing in on-loan Tottenham midfielder Josh Onomah into midfield for striker Keinan Davis.

Wales international Neil Taylor is still suspended so Alan Hutton continues to deputise at left-back.

Aston Villa: Johnstone; Elmohamady, Chester, Terry, Hutton; Whelan, Onomah, Hourihane; Snodgrass, Kodjia, Adomah.
Subs: Steer, De Laet, Samba, Bjarnason, Davis, O’Hare, Hogan.

Fulham: Button; Fredericks, Kalas, Ream, Sessegnon; McDonald, Johansen, Norwood; Ayite, Fonte, Kamara.
Subs: Bettinelli, Odoi, Soares, Cisse, Cairney, Kebano, Mollo.
