Warnock: QPR fans must back Ramsey

Neil Warnock has called on QPR fans to back head coach Chris Ramsey as the club looks to rebuild in the Championship following relegation.

The former Rangers boss says Ramsey has an enormous task on his hands and needs to be supported.

Warnock said: “Those QPR fans are like a 12th man and they’ve got to support Ramsey fully as the club try and get through this tricky situation they are in.

“It’s going to take a lot of work behind the scenes. Tony Fernandes has shown faith in him and everyone else must do the same now.”

Warnock, 66, added that he would be happy to help the former Tottenham coach should he need any advice this season.

“I’m only at the end of the phone if Chris wants to talk to me,” he said.

“I think I can help somebody, maybe that could be Chris but who knows, I haven’t got a clue who it could be but all I do know is I can benefit someone out there.

“It’s a shame I’m not helping anyone at the minute really but maybe that might change soon.”
