Spanish midfielder training with QPR ahead of possible move

Celta Vigo midfielder Yelko Pino is training with QPR and played for their development side in a match against Millwall on Friday afternoon.

Kelvin Osei-Addo, a 19-year-old winger who has also been granted a trial, scored for the visitors in a 2-2 draw at Millwall’s training ground, as did Ryan Manning.

Osei-Addo, who can play on either flank or as a striker, was previously with MK Dons and has since been playing non-League football.

Pino, 19, is expected to play in another Under-21s match, against Charlton a week on Monday, ahead of a possible move to Loftus Road.

West London Sport revealed that Pino, who is keen to secure a contract in England, would play in Friday’s game after being given the chance to train with the R’s.

Celta Vigo announced earlier this month that the Spain Under-19 international had joined QPR on a six-month deal.

The La Liga club previously announced he had moved to Swindon Town, where he also trained but did not sign.
