Latest speculation over Phillips and Gray, Blues tipped to sign Kenedy
A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving QPR, Chelsea and Brentford…
Midlands newspaper the Express & Star reports that West Brom have warned QPR they will not pay £10m for Matty Phillips and are ready to look elsewhere.
West London Sport revealed on Sunday that Rangers had rejected a bid from Albion for the 24-year-old winger.
The Express & Star later reported that Albion were moving closer to a deal and believed a compromise could be reached over a fee.
But now it is being reported that Rangers have dug their heels in and that Baggies boss Tony Pulis has told them he will end his interest in Phillips if they refuse to budge.
Kenedy is set complete a move from Fluminense to Chelsea this week, Brazilian media have reported.
The Daily Mirror say Chelsea were interested in Pedro but that the Spain winger has decided to stay at Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Hull City, who have been linked with Andre Gray, reportedly need to offload players before they can move for the Brentford striker.
The Hull Daily Mail say the Tigers are being inhibited by a struggle to sell strikers Nikica Jelavic, Dame N’Doye and Abel Hernandez.

Why the hell should QPR be bothered if Pulis decides not to stump up the cash? It doesn’t work like that, Tony. You don’t go into McDonalds and say “I’ll have a Big Mac Meal for £1.50 please … and if you won’t sell me one for £1.50 I’ll leave.” Or maybe that IS what Mr Pulis does!
