Pawel Wszolek and Yeni Ngbakoto have been given places in the QPR starting line-up for the game at Loftus Road.

Rangers, who make five changes, are without Massimo Luongo, who is ill, but Luke Freeman, Josh Scowen and Conor Washington have been passed fit and all start.

Scowen and Washington missed last weekend’s defeat at Middlesbrough, where Freeman picked up a knock.

David Wheeler has since also picked up a knock and has failed to recover, so misses out on a full home debut.

Rangers’ defensive injury problems – Nedum Onuoha, James Perch and Grant Hall are all sidelined – has led boss Ian Holloway to name Joel Lynch and Steven Caulker among his substitutes despite neither player being fully fit.

QPR: Smithies; Furlong, Baptiste, Robinson; Wszolek, Scowen, Freeman, Bidwell; Ngbakoto, Washington, Mackie.
Subs: Lumley, Lynch, Manning, Caulker, Smith, Osyai-Samuel, Sylla.

Burton: Bywater, Brayford, Warnock, Allen, McFadzean, Turner, Murphy, Scannell, Atkins, Sordell, Buxton.
Subs: Ripley, Dyer, Mason, Naylor, Akpan, Varney, Flanagan.
