QPR striker Johnson returns with two goals

Andy Johnson featured for QPR’s Under-21 side as they beat Millwall 3-1 on Tuesday afternoon.

The veteran striker, plagued by knee problems and more recently an ankle injury, scored twice in the game at Rangers’ Harlington training ground, where Shaun Wright-Phillips also played.

Johnson netted with a penalty after being fouled in the area and after Millwall equalised Michael Petrasso restored the lead in the second half.

And Johnson added Rangers’ third on 84 minutes, sealing a place in the Professional Development League Two play-offs for Steve Gallen’s team.
