QPR seek deal to bring Kranjcar back

QPR are looking to tie up a deal to bring Niko Kranjcar back to Loftus Road.

Kranjcar, who spent last season on loan from Dynamo Kiev, is desperate to leave the Ukrainian club despite being on massive wages.

The Croatia international has been plagued by hamstring trouble and missed the World Cup after aggravating the problem during QPR’s Championship play-off final victory against Derby at Wembley in May.

But with manager Harry Redknapp convinced Kranjcar’s long-term fitness will not be an issue, Rangers are trying to negotiate his release.

Kranjcar, who also played under Redknapp at Tottenham and Portsmouth, made 29 Championship appearances last term, scoring twice.
