QPR in talks with striker Zamora

QPR are discussing personal terms with striker Bobby Zamora after reaching an agreement with Fulham.

The England international, 31, played under QPR’s former Whites boss Mark Hughes at Craven Cottage.

But Rangers have long been planning a pre-deadline move for Zamora, whose current contract expires in 2014.

Initial enquiries were made about him while Neil Warnock was still QPR manager and the club have been monitoring his situation for some time.

Zamora is keen to make the move and Hughes is hoping to complete the deal in the coming hours.
