QPR fined by FA for Fulham protests

QPR have been fined £7,500 by the Football Association after admitting a charge of failing to ensure their players acted in an orderly fashion during Saturday’s derby at Fulham.

The charge relates to players surrounding referee Lee Mason to protest against his decision to award the home side a penalty in the final seconds of the match.

Rangers, who won 2-1 after Sone Aluko missed the penalty, were also warned about their future conduct.

Meanwhile, Joel Lynch featured for QPR’s development side in a 5-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest on Friday.
