QPR defensive duo return to training

QPR defenders Danny Gabbidon and Armand Traore returned to full training on Friday.

Gabbidon has missed Rangers’ last two matches because of a hamstring injury, while Traore has been complaining of a thigh problem and sat out Sunday’s win against Chelsea.

Both players will be assessed ahead of this weekend’s London derby at Tottenham, but manager Neil Warnock expects to name an unchanged starting line-up.

Meanwhile, Warnock has insisted that Anton Ferdinand will not be distracted by the furore surrounding allegations that Chelsea captain John Terry racially abused the defender.

“I can honestly say it hasn’t distracted him,” said Warnock.

“He’s a very good player – probably one of the best centre-backs in the country at the moment – and I’m very pleased to have him here.”
