QPR believe James Perch could return to training the week after next.

Perch, 32, was expected to be sidelined until next year after suffering a dislocated kneecap against Wolves in August.

But he has responded so well to treatment Rangers now expect him to be in contention for a first-team return after next month’s international break.

Captain Nedum Onuoha, who has a hamstring tear, is on course to be available again in December.

But Grant Hall has suffered a setback in his attempted comeback from a persistent knee problem.

Meanwhile, Rangers defender Jack Robinson has been ruled out of Saturday’s game against bottom side Bolton.
