QPR confirm signing of Perch from Wigan

QPR have completed the signing of James Perch from Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee.

Perch has signed a three-year contract at Loftus Road and is expected to feature in Sunday’s pre-season friendly against Italian side Atalanta.

West London Sport revealed on Wednesday that Rangers and Wigan had agreed a fee for the versatile 29-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield.

Perch made 95 appearances for the Latics after being signed from Newcastle in 2013.

He was previously at Nottingham Forest, making more than 200 appearances for the East Midlands club.
