QPR confirm signing of Chile star Isla
QPR have confirmed the signing of Chile international Mauricio Isla from Juventus.
Rangers have completed a deal to sign the 26-year-old on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent move.
He can play at full-back or further forward and R’s boss Harry Redknapp, who is keen to use wing-backs this season, sees him as the ideal alternative to the more defensive Danny Simpson.
Isla featured for his country at the recent World Cup and has been with Juventus since 2012. He previously had a five-year spell with Udinese.
