QPR have confirmed the signing of winger Bright Osayi-Samuel from Blackpool.

West London Sport revealed on Thursday that a deal had been agreed for the the 20-year-old Nigerian ahead of the transfer deadline.

A previous approach for Osayi-Samuel was rejected by Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston, but an agreement was eventually reached and he has signed a three-year contract.

A number of other clubs have shown an interest in Osayi-Samuel in recent months.

He is a product of Blackpool’s youth system and made 79 appearances for the League One club.

However, QPR were unable to agree a deal to sign Sheffield Wednesday striker Sam Winnall, who had been lined up for a deadline-day move to Loftus Road. He later joined Derby on loan.
