Caulker plays in QPR Under-23 game

QPR: Steven Caulker

Steven Caulker featured for QPR’s Under-23 side on Friday afternoon along with Sean Goss and Kazenga LuaLua.

All three players completed the full 90 minutes of the game at Loftus Road, where the hosts lost 2-1 to Ipswich.

Rangers’ goal was scored in the final minute by Aramide Oteh, who earlier hit the bar, had a goal disallowed and missed a great chance by heading Olamide Shodipo’s cross over from close range.

Winger Shodipo, who recently returned to action after injury, came on for the final half an hour.

Grant Hall was not involved after suffering a setback in his attempted comeback from a persistent knee problem.

Rangers’ Under-23s had won eight of their previous nine matches this season.
