Holloway plans more changes for Villa game

Ian Holloway plans to make more changes for QPR’s trip to Aston Villa on Tuesday.

The Rangers boss has chopped and changed in recent weeks, making four more changes for Friday’s 1-0 defeat at Derby.

And he intends to shuffle the pack once again when his side return to action in midweek.

“I will do. I’ve been doing that (making changes) and it’s been working okay for us,” he said.

“The lads looked despondent (after the Derby game) but I’ve got plenty who will be ready to go at Villa.

“It will be another tough game for us but hopefully we can learn from this one and give a better account of ourselves.”

Jamie Mackie is among those hoping to be recalled to the starting line-up, while Massimo Luongo, who picked up a knock while on international duty with Australia, will be assessed ahead of Tuesday’s match.
