QPR assessing another Cousins injury after ‘best game’

QPR are assessing Jordan Cousins after he strained his hamstring against against Derby.

Cousins has struggled with hamstring trouble since his summer move from Charlton and was taken off 13 minutes from the end of Wednesday’s defeat at Loftus Road.

He was having a good game and Rangers had plenty of possession but a late Derby goal condemned Ian Holloway’s side to a fourth consecutive loss.

“Jordan probably had his best game for us,” said R’s boss Holloway.

“He used his power. I was gutted to see him come off. We got him off as soon as we could.”

Holloway is hoping Cousins will be available for Sunday’s home game against Aston Villa.
