It could be the ideal time for QPR to face the Gunners

Saturday could be the perfect time to face Arsenal at The Emirates and Rangers are 8/1 to cause a shock against a Gunners side beaten at home by Schalke this week.

Arsenal are 2/5 with the draw 4s and I am sure their fans think this is the perfect game to restore their confidence.

I’m not so sure. Arsenal have never rocked my boat as potential champions and I’m not convinced they will finish in the top four.

Djibril Cisse looked sharp when he came on against Everton and is 11/1 to score the opener (as is Bobby Zamora) but they may have to score at least two to take the points as the R’s defence still looks decidedly shaky.

Sunday’s game between Chelsea and Manchester United promises to be a mouth-watering clash.

Chelsea were excellent at White Hart Lane last weekend but were poor in the Donbass Arena in midweek and both sides come into the game having conceded two goals in their last couple of games.

Note the Blues are now back out to 16/1 to retain their European crown at Wembley in May although we are convinced (2/7) they will qualify for the knockout stages.

Chelsea are 7/5 at BetVictor to maintain their 100% home record in the league with United 21/10 and the draw at 12/5.

Rumours have reached BetVictor Towers that Roman Abramovich is looking to flex his financial muscle in the January transfer window with an offer to cash-strapped Atletico Madrid for Radamel Falcao, whose 16 goals in his last 10 games for club and country has seen his stock rise even higher.

The Chelsea career of Fernando Torres continues to take one pace forward and then one back and he is 6/1 to score Sunday’s opener and atone for that miss at Old Trafford last season.

Three or more goals in the game is 4/6 with two or fewer 6/5 and both teams to score, which is becoming increasingly popular with punters, is 8/13.

We bet 8/1 the field in our Sky Man of the Match market and with Juan Mata popular at 10/1 and money also for Eden Hazard at 12s and David Luis 25s.

Reading are 9/5 to get their first win of the season against Fulham who are favourites at 8/5 at BetVictor with the draw at 5/2.

Pavel Pogrebnyak is 6/1 to score the opener against his former club with former Royal Steve Sidwell 18s.

Reading were appalling against Spurs at the Madejski Stadium earlier in the season and are 8/11 to be relegated.

Fulham really ought to get something from the game and the 8/5 makes plenty of appeal.

For the weekend nap I return to Stamford Bridge and if Paul Scholes starts for United take the 13/8 for him to be booked at anytime at BetVictor.

He was mistiming tackles when Mata, Oscar and Hazard were in primary school and will leave his mark at some stage on one of Chelsea’s new holy trinity.
