QPR hoping Hall and Onuoha return for derby

QPR boss Ian Holloway is hoping Nedum Onuoha and Grant Hall will be able to return for this weekend’s derby at Brentford.

Five consecutive defeats mean Rangers are still not completely safe from relegation and their cause was not helped by the absence of Onuoha and Hall in the loss to Sheffield Wednesday on Easter Monday.

Hall recently picked up an injury in training and missed the Good Friday loss at Bristol City, while Onuoha recently suffered mild concussion.

Holloway said: “We’re letting in too many goals at the moment and the injuries we’ve got don’t help.

“Hopefully Nedum might be fit. We might have to look at where Hally is, because they were badly missed.

“The physio said Nedum couldn’t play. What pleases me is that Nedum still wanted to play.”
