Palace’s forwards worried QPR – Redknapp

Harry Redknapp admitted Crystal Palace’s pace up front was always a concern for QPR in the 0-0 draw at Loftus Road.

Having won their previous three home matches, the hosts were unable to pull off another victory against their fellow strugglers.

The closest they came to a goal was when Steven Caulker’s 74th-minute header was cleared off the line.

And Rangers boss Redknapp said: “It was a tough game – always difficult.

“With the pace they have, I always felt Palace were dangerous on the break with three quick forwards.

“I also felt the big fella in midfield [Mile] Jedinak screened Bobby Zamora very well. So I couldn’t sit here and say we deserved to win.

“I saw Palace earlier in the season and I think they’re a decent team, I really do. I think they’re a decent outfit.”

Rangers are next in action on New Year’s Day when they face another vital home match, against Swansea.
