QPR’s miserable run continued with a 3-1 loss at home to Leeds – their fifth defeat in six matches. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player.

Alex Smithies: 6

A calm and assured presence to combat several testing moments in the first half, but Smithies could do nothing about all three of Leeds’ goals.

Pawel Wszolek: 6

Operating at right-back, the Poland international put in plenty of work and was a threat going forward, but he found the going tougher further back. Gave his side hope in the final minutes with a bizarre goal from 35 yards, but it proved to be no more than a consolation.

Nedum Onuoha: 6

QPR’s captain survived a few nervy moments on his return after nearly three months out, but he struggled as Leeds turned up the pressure in the final half-hour.

Jack Robinson: 6

Robinson put in another composed performance for much of the game. But – like Onuoha – he could not contain Leeds’ front line as they took the game away from the home side.

Jake Bidwell: 7

His stunning last-ditch tackle at the end of the first half denied Kemar Roofe and it was the highlight of a committed display.

Josh Scowen: 7

Another battling display that helped keep QPR’s midfield ticking over. Withdrawn in the second half as his side looked to get back into the game.

Massimo Luongo: 7

The midfielder covered every blade of grass in a solid all-round performance that was very nearly capped with a goal, but his second-half header drifted inches wide.

Ilias Chair: 6

Showed some neat footwork, but the youngster failed to make a real impression on the game.

Luke Freeman: 6

Freeman nearly put his side ahead with a flicked effort following a beautiful flowing QPR move in the first half, but it was his only major involvement in the game.

Conor Washington: 6

Fashioned himself a couple of half-chances, but Washington was easily contained by the Leeds defence.

Matt Smith: 6

Won plenty of headers in both penalty areas, but Smith was unable to create any real goalscoring opportunities.

Bright Osayi-Samuel: 6

Failed to make a telling contribution on the game after being brought on just after Leeds went ahead.
