Rangers confirm departure of chief scout

QPR have confirmed the departure of chief scout Ian Broomfield, who is expected to take up a role at Arsenal.

Broomfield resigned from his position at Loftus Road, where he had worked since soon after Harry Redknapp’s appointment in November 2012.

He previously worked with Redknapp at Tottenham and Portsmouth and was a key ally of the Rangers manager.
