QPR hopeful on Cousins injury

QPR are optimistic another hamstring problem picked up by Jordan Cousins is not serious.

Cousins, just back from injury, had to come off during the second half of Rangers’ 1-0 win at home to Bristol City on Tuesday evening.

He was withdrawn as a precaution after feeling discomfort in the hamstring he previously strained, but Rangers believe he might be available for the game at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Less is known at this stage about the condition of Joel Lynch, who limped off during the first half of Tuesday’s match.

Both players are due to be assessed on Thursday.
