Northampton v QPR: Smithies plays, Cousins a sub

New signing Jordan Cousins is among QPR’s substitutes for tonight’s friendly.

Goalkeeper Alex Smithies, meanwhile, has recovered from injury and makes his first appearance of Rangers’ pre-season campaign.

None of QPR’s three other summer signings will be involved. Jake Bidwell sits the game out, Joel Lynch has been nursing a hamstring problem, and Ariel Borysiuk has been sidelined by an ankle injury.
