Derry looking to take QPR youngster on loan

Shaun Derry is looking to take Michael Petrasso to Notts County on loan – 11 months after missing out on the QPR youngster.

Former R’s midfielder Derry was on the verge of completing a loan deal for Petrasso a week after taking charge at Meadow Lane last year.

But the deal stalled and the Canadian winger, 19, was loaned to Oldham instead.

Now Derry is back in for Petrasso, who has just completed a month’s loan at Leyton Orient and also had a spell with Coventry last season.
