Palace not interested in signing Austin

Crystal Palace have ruled out a move for QPR striker Charlie Austin.

Newspaper reports had linked Austin with a move to Selhurst Park, and former Rangers and Palace boss Neil Warnock suggested on TalkSport that the 26-year-old would be an ideal signing for them.

But successor Alan Pardew insisted Austin was not on their list of transfer targets.

He said: “Charlie Austin is of no interest to us.”

“I’ve seen all the names that have been linked with us and not one of them is true.”
