Darnell Furlong has been ruled out of QPR’s game against Barnsley.

The defender picked up a groin strain in training and is unavailable, but Pawel Wszolek and Paul Smyth have been passed fit.

Wszolek missed Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Bristol City after taking knock to the head during a friendly match a few days before the game.

Smyth scored the winner against Cardiff on his debut on New Year’s Day but has since struggled with thigh strain.

Both players are in the squad for this weekend’s game at Loftus Road, with boss Ian Holloway planning to make changes, particularly up front.

Conor Washington and youngster Aramide Oteh both played and scored in the recent win at Burton but Rangers have since struggled – they lost at Bristol City despite their opponents playing with 10 men for most of the game.

Striker Idrissa Sylla remains sidelined with calf problem.

  • All our problems are the fault of FFP,WRONG,ALL our problems are the fault of mismanagement,LET THEM THAT MADE THE MISTAKES ,PAY THE PRICE.Why should todays supporters be treated like MUGS because of mistakes made by management,Not ONE transfer in the january window means no relief for a squad that is barely surviving now,WHO do we blame if we are relegated??????.
