Former England star Campbell coaching at QPR

Former England defender Sol Campbell is working as a coach at QPR.

Campbell, 42, is helping with the coaching of Rangers’ youngsters on a voluntary, informal basis, working with academy players and the Under-23s.

He oversaw a session at the club’s academy last year as part of his examination for an A-License coaching qualification and has been invited back by Rangers, although there are currently no plans to employ him in a full-time role.

Campbell played 73 times for England and had spells at Tottenham, Arsenal and Portsmouth during his playing career.
