Departure of Bond is confirmed by QPR

Harry Redknapp’s former assistant Kevin Bond is leaving QPR, the club have confirmed.

The 58-year-old arrived at Loftus Road in November 2012 when Redknapp was appointed manager.

Bond had previously worked with Redknapp at West Ham, Portsmouth, Southampton and Tottenham, having played under him at Bournemouth in the 1980s.

He took temporary charge of Rangers alongside Chris Ramsey after Redknapp’s departure in February and stayed after Ramsey was subsequently installed as head coach.

However, Bond’s time at the club will end when his contract expires on 30 June.
