Birmingham could be without two key men for trip to QPR

Clayton Donaldson of Brentford

Birmingham will be without first-choice goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak when they visit QPR on Saturday and top scorer Clayton Donaldson might also be unavailable.

Former Manchester United keeper Kuszczak is struggling with a thigh muscle injury that has kept him out of the last two Championship matches. Adam Legzdins will step in for him.

Donaldson is a doubt with a sore Achilles, after picking up an injury in the build up to Birmingham’s injury-time winner over Sheffield Wednesday last weekend.

Lucas Jutkiewicz, the scorer of that goal, is likely to replace Donaldson up front should the ex-Brentford man not come through a fitness test on Friday.

Midfielder Robert Tesche has also been ruled out, having missed the Wednesday game, while a sickness bug has affected a number of Blues players.
