Ouseph preparing for tough test at Danish Open

Feltham’s Rajiv Ouseph begins his Danish Open campaign on Wednesday with a tough first-round tie against home favourite Viktor Axelsen.

Ouseph, ranked 20 in the world, has lost his last three matches against world number seven Axelsen, including two this year.

The Danish Open, taking place in Axelsen’s birthplace of Odense, is the first Superseries event of the season in Europe.

Ouseph, who has won only one match at the tournament in his last three attempts, could face world number nine Son Wan Ho in the next round if he overcomes Axelsen.
