United move for Reading defender

Hayes & Yeading United have signed teenage defender Jake Sheppard on loan from Reading.

Sheppard, 18, is a Scotland youth international and has joined United for an initial month with a view to extending the deal.

He has progressed through the academy at Reading and was given a two-year contract by the Championship club during the summer.
