Sessegnon insists he is focused on Fulham

Ryan Sessegnon has told Fulham’s website he takes little notice of speculation linking him with Premier League clubs.

Tottenham and Arsenal made enquiries about the 16-year-old left-back last year and there have been reports of interest from Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Everton.

“I don’t pay too much attention to it. I just focus on one job and that is playing for Fulham,” Sessegnon told FulhamFCTV.

Sessegnon, who turns 17 in May, made his senior debut for the Whites in August and has made 24 first-team appearances this season, with 20 of them coming in the Championship.

“My ambition is to be the best I can be. This is my club. I love being at this club,” he said.

“The opportunities I have had this season have been great and on a personal note I just want to help the team gain promotion to the Premier League where we belong.”
