Struggling Fulham beaten at Wolves

Fulham: Slavisa Jokanovic.

Wolves 3 Fulham 2

Fulham suffered their third loss in as many matches under new manager Slaviša Jokanović, going down at Molineux despite a late rally.

They were 2-0 down inside 12 minutes after Michal Zyro, making his league debut for Wolves, scored twice.

Lasse Vigen Christensen pulled a goal back on 24 minutes and after Matt Doherty restored the hosts’ two-goal advantage, Ross McCormack’s 74th-minute strike – his 16th goal of the season – gave Fulham hope.

Zyro netted after latching on to Jordan Graham’s cross and worse followed for the Whites when Wolves’ recent signing beat the offside trap and slotted past keeper Andy Lonergan.

Fulham responded and Christensen headed in a cross from Jazz Richards to haul them back in to the match.

But for the third game running they were undone by a stunning long-range shot, this time from Doherty.

Rajiv van La Parra almost made it four when his shot hit the post, before McCormack brilliantly fired home following Dan Burn’s cross.
