Jokanovic unhappy with officials over Piazon injury

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic says he could not believe the tackle in which Lucas Piazon broke his leg was not penalised.

The Brazilian winger went off 10 minutes before half-time in the 0-0 draw at Leeds United on Tuesday after the challenge from Conor Shaugnessy.

It was later revealed by Jokanovic that the Chelsea loanee had suffered a broken fibula.

The Whites boss was unhappy that no free-kick or card was awarded and claims he heard fourth official Carl Boyeson say that it was a tackle typical of English football.

“The answer from the fourth official was this is English football and this is a legal tackle,” Jokanovic said.

“It’s the most ridiculous answer that I’ve heard in my life, in professional football.”
