Jokanovic: Fulham must be more ruthless
Slavisa Jokanovic says Fulham must be far more clinical after seeing his side waste a number of chances in the 1-0 win over Birmingham City.
They ended up grateful that on-loan Chelsea attacker Jeremie Boga missed a penalty late on.
“We must be satisfied,” said the Whites boss. “It’s the second time we won at home with a clean sheet and we were really solid. I believe they only had one attempt on target and we dominated the game.
“But we created enough to score more goals than we did and we have space to improve.
“We can play better, so we are not in trouble at the end of the game.
“The only solution I can think of is to score the second goal and we must be more clinical and show more quality in this kind of situation.
“In the last part of the game, we can pay an expensive price with one mistake. They missed a penalty and the only solution I know is to score more goals – to make the last part of the game quieter.”
