Hat-trick for Kane as Spurs ease past Fulham

Fulham 0 Tottenham 3

Harry Kane scored a hat-trick in a one-sided FA Cup tie at Craven Cottage.

Christian Eriksen twice crossed from the right for Kane to score from close range.

And the England striker’s tidy finish after being put through by Dele Alli with 17 minutes remaining sealed Tottenham’s place in the quarter-finals.

The Premier League team went ahead on 16 minutes, when Kieran Trippier’s quickly-taken throw caught out Scott Malone, who allowed Eriksen to drift away from him and set up Kane.

The second goal, scored six minutes after half-time, was similar, with Eriksen again delivering the ball from the right for Kane to apply the finish.

Another Eriksen cross from the right then set up Alli, who hooked his shot over the bar.

Kane missed a chance to make it three when he lobbed over after being put through on goal by Alli.

But when he was again sent through by Alli – with Eriksen again involved in the build-up – Kane made no mistake.
