Fulham’s Grimmer joins Shrews on loan

Fulham defender Jack Grimmer has joined Shrewsbury Town on loan until the end of the season.

Whites midfielder Larnell Cole, who has played 19 times for the Shrews this season, has also extended his deal with the League One side for the rest of the campaign.

Right-back Grimmer, who turns 22 later this month, is returning to Shrewsbury after seven appearances last season.

He was recalled by Fulham in November 2014 and went on to play in 13 Championship matches for the first team.

Cole, 22, initially joined the Shrews on 1 September and has netted twice for them in all competitions.
